Divergent
Divergent thinking is a thought process whose goal is to find the largest possible number of solutions to a problem. This capability is used to generate ideas and solve something creatively, as opposed to convergent thinking, which is to find an appropriate solution to a single problem.
The convergent and divergent thinking accordance replaced intelligence (as measured by IQ tests) and creativity. Were introduced by Joy Paul Guilford, who noted that there are two types of response to a problem.
